Dear Arlene,

        I wanted to report that the girls LOVED the shimmy party today. I was worried when I heard Mindy was coming in your place, but she was awesome! I loved her outfit. And the girls' necklaces/gifts were beautiful!
        The girls didn't seem at all shy and I think you might have a couple of birthday parties booked because of this. Jennifer wore her shimmy skirt that she bought from you in class and I wanted to let you know that I gave out your cell phone and e-mail address to a Girl Scout mom who is thinking of buying one. I hope you don't mind.
        I've also told some Girl Scout moms about your mother-daughter class through Gilbert Parks and Rec. I hope you're still doing them!
        Again, the party was wonderful. I think Jennifer is disappointed that she didn't do that for her birthday party in February--she thought maybe the other girls wouldn't get into it as much as she did. Wrong!

        Thank you both so much for helping me to celebrate my 11th birthday you made it very special and I will always remember what fun I had.
        My friends and I really had a great time learning some of the moves we continued to practice them all day long. My Mom thought I would never get out of my costume and my scarf belt.

(NOTE: Annette’s party was given by her mom, Vaunda, for her 11th birthday. Annette’s party included a special gift of a real belly dance costume procured by Gimmy Shimmy according to Vaunda’s specifications. Annette’s party also included Gimmy Shimmy gift bags for each of her guests. The gift bags contained coin hip scarves, zills and miscellaneous belly dance-themed items - a huge hit!)
